Tynker’s mission is to teach children of all ages to code and to encourage a deep enthusiasm to learn STEM and become makers of technology. Learning to code has endless benefits! From preparation for the future to the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. All kids should learn to code.
We seek to continue this work by offering the Tynker Student Scholarship, an annual $1,000 scholarship to be used by the recipient to pursue an education in high school or college. The awarded student will receive $1,000 to be used towards expenses. No purchase is necessary.
Who can apply?
All U.S. citizens are eligible to apply. The winner will be required to provide proof of attendance to a US school.
Requirements:Submit a one-page personal statement discussing any work experience, internships, or volunteer activities you may have participated in relating to coding or STEM and what are your goals and plans for the future.
Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30, 2021.

- The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31, 2021.
- The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $1,000 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university or if under 18, the award will be sent to the child’s parent to be used for education. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
