Week 5 Summer Code-A-Thon Challenge: Lights, Code, Action!

It’s already Week 5 of the Summer Code-A-Thon! Summer is one of the best times for watching movies or reading a great book. This week, we’re challenging kids to code a storytelling project about their favorite book or movie from this summer. They could recreate their favorite scene, come up with a new ending, explain what they loved about it, or even create their own animated book or movie!

Starting from a blank template, kids can create anything they want! They can submit any project to the Summer Code-A-Thon, but extra points will be given for using the theme.

The Summer Code-A-Thon is free and open to all. All you need to do is create a free parent-verified account to be eligible to win prizes. Please share this program with anyone who might be looking for ways to keep their kids engaged over the summer!
