Community Highlights: August 13 – August 19
It’s Monday, which means we get to update you on the Tynker community! This week, we saw lots of exciting games (many of them sports games) and some great tweets! Try your hand at a game or two and don’t miss our blog update, either.
Projects of the Week
You must make it to the green dot in this Ninja Maze, but be careful – if you hit the sides of the maze, you must restart!
In this unique car battle to the end, you must evade your opponent’s lasers and strike them down before you become part of the junkyard!
Football season is kicking off! Throw a pass to your fellow teammate wearing blue – it may prove to be difficult, but it’s possible!
Shoot your shot in this soccer game! Try to score on the moving goalie, then celebrate with an emote!

On the Blog
Imij and Mark were our Featured Makers this week! Imij has been coding for 4 years now and loves refining her skills with Tynker. Mark has plans to be a software engineer and has a project with over 23,000 views!
We also posted this article about a teacher in New York who’s loving Tynker! “My students have taught me more about coding than I have taught them, and I thank Tynker for that. We learned together, and this gave all of them the confidence they didn’t know they had in addition to the skills that they will continue to hone.”
Our Code-A-Thon recap article went live this week as well! Over the course of 6 weeks, we received 26,514 project submissions and featured 120 winners. We lined up the top 10 projects of the Code-A-Thon – check it out!
