He\u2019s in 8th grade and loves arts and crafts, as well as science. He\u2019s made some great creative contributions to the Tynker community, so we chatted with him to find out what he thinks about coding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you want to be when you grow up?<\/strong> A scientist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did you get introduced to Tynker?<\/strong> My sister found this coding app in her school\u2019s computer class, and I wanted something like it so I searched online and found Tynker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favorite thing you\u2019ve made?<\/strong> The teleportation project that I posted online.<\/p>\n\n<!-- iframe plugin v.6.0 wordpress.org\/plugins\/iframe\/ -->\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"\/ide\/embedded?p=56bf3261434a5c184c8b4568&#038;controls=yes&#038;autostart=no\" height=\"350\" width=\"100%\" class=\"iframe-class\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favorite feature in Tynker?<\/strong> Character making, I love making characters. I loved editing their characters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you planning to make next?<\/strong> The second part of Dimension Teleportation. I\u2019m also working on other projects that I haven\u2019t published yet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you do with a project when you\u2019re done with it?<\/strong> I show it to my family members and ask for approval and then I publish if I like it!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why do you like to code?<\/strong> In computer class when I was introduced to coding, I just found an interest in it. I do code in my free time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you think other kids should try coding?<\/strong> Yes, it\u2019s very helpful to improve coding skills because in the future if you want to become an engineer, you\u2019ll have to program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What advice would you give for kids starting out with Tynker?<\/strong> I think you should go to the tutorials and learn how to do it properly.<\/p>\n<p>Rashaad\u2019s mom Asma thinks coding is a way for him to develop his creativity. She said she\u2019s \u201creally really proud of my son because he doesn\u2019t waste time doing unnecessary stuff &#8211; he\u2019s doing things that really help him.\u201d She told us she\u2019s really impressed with the animations Rashaad has come up with.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been impressed with your projects too, Rashaad!
