She likes math because she can use it for basically everything, and she likes solving problems. Cool!<strong> <\/strong>Alexandra recently spoke with us about her experience <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tynker.com\/\">coding with Tynker<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you get introduced to Tynker?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think dad found it, and I started in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you learn to use Tynker?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I started with the courses. My favorite is Glitch Manor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have your coding skills improved since you started using Tynker? <\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They&#8217;ve improved quite a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you feel when you found out your project had been featured?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do you get inspiration for your projects?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes it&#8217;s about what&#8217;s happening around me, or sometimes I just come up with a random thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why do you like to code?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because it&#8217;s just fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favorite way to use code?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I like the on-start blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you do with a project when you\u2019re done with it?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I normally publish it and then show it to my sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the best thing about Tynker?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I like Tynker Summer Code Jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there anything we should add to Tynker?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not really. I think it&#8217;s pretty good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Has learning to code prepared you for the future?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I could make websites easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do you think other kids should try coding?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, definitely. I think it&#8217;s just a really good skill to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to kids starting with Tynker?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b\u200bJust start out with the basics. And once you learn the basics, you can start building up to a higher level. And then when you get the hang of it, you can just start doing more stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are some of your hobbies?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I like inline skating, badminton, and running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parent Questions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alexandra\u2019s mother, Christina, spoke with us about her daughter learning to code with Tynker:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s really fascinating to see how much she\u2019s progressed. I think keeping them doing coding as a fun thing is really important so if they&#8217;re interested they\u2019ll continue doing it. I think Tynker has done a really good job for a beginner and helping them progress. So, we&#8217;re really happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What benefits do you think coding has for her?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s definitely an essential skill for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thank you!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to thank Alexandra and her mother for taking the time to speak with us about coding with Tynker.
