Our goal is to inspire kids of all ages to use code to become creators instead of just consumers. Here are some great new school and classroom features that we\u2019re excited to share with you.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Class_Stream\"><\/span><strong>Class Stream<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now every classroom using Tynker has a <strong>Stream<\/strong> that allows teachers to communicate asynchronously (independent of location) with their students.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers can post links, images, and videos as attachments to Tynker lessons. Now students can share their projects with their classmates.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a student shares their project, a <strong>comment feed<\/strong> is activated, allowing users on a private communal list to post comments. And from the gradebook, teachers can send them <strong>progress reports<\/strong> via email.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In turn, the parent\/guardian can view and print the web page with the progress report, which includes a summary, mastery chart, and project portfolio, as well as any awards and certificates.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"774\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/images.tynker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201105100919\/Progress-Reports-for-Parent-Guardian1-774x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.tynker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201105100919\/Progress-Reports-for-Parent-Guardian1-774x1024.png 774w, https:\/\/images.tynker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201105100919\/Progress-Reports-for-Parent-Guardian1-113x150.png 113w, https:\/\/images.tynker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201105100919\/Progress-Reports-for-Parent-Guardian1-227x300.png 227w, https:\/\/images.tynker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201105100919\/Progress-Reports-for-Parent-Guardian1-768x1016.png 768w, https:\/\/images.tynker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/20201105100919\/Progress-Reports-for-Parent-Guardian1-1280x1693.png 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 774px) 100vw, 774px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Distribute_Student_Logins_to_ParentGuardian\"><\/span><strong>Distribute Student Logins to Parent\/Guardian<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once teachers set up their student accounts with Tynker, they can distribute student login information to the parent\/guardian from the <strong>Students tab<\/strong> in the Classroom or use the Bulk Actions menu to send it to several parents\/guardians at once.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Co-Teaching\"><\/span><strong>Co-Teaching<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With this feature, teachers can invite an additional educator or a student helper and give them access to their classroom. Tynker allows educators to choose the level of access to provide the secondary teacher.
