As our newest Featured Maker, Noah has a wealth of hobbies, including Legos, hockey, and especially football!&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noah\u2019s a big NFL fan and has incorporated that into his favorite project, NFL Quiz, which is what first got our attention! When in school, Noah loves to read because he can just relax and get into a book. Noah was excited to tell us all about his experience coding and what else he likes to get up to!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you get introduced to Tynker and how long have you been coding? <\/strong>My teacher introduced Tynker to us because we had to create a project. We had to code a game and I\u2019ve been coding for 2 years.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you learn how to use Tynker when you were first starting out? <\/strong>I did some of the tutorials like Ball Drop.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How have your coding skills improved since you started using Tynker? <\/strong>They have improved a lot. I\u2019ve made NFL quizzes and trivia.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How did you feel when you found out your project had been featured? <\/strong>I was so happy because it keeps getting 10,000 views a day!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is your favorite project you\u2019ve made so far? <\/strong>I like my video game trivia that I made because it asks people questions that they might not know and lets you know if you\u2019re correct. The other one I like is the NFL quiz.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where did you get the idea for your favorite project? <\/strong>I got the inspiration from Fortnite. It took me about a week and a half to make!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<!-- iframe plugin v.6.0 wordpress.org\/plugins\/iframe\/ -->\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"\/ide\/embedded?p=5c50a8e960ba6f22fb0947f4&#038;controls=yes&#038;autostart=no\" height=\"350\" width=\"100%\" class=\"iframe-class\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do you get inspiration for your projects? <\/strong>Maybe like games or TV shows. Fortnite is my favorite game and my favorite TV show is probably House Hunters.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why do you like to code? <\/strong>I think it challenges me at times and I like seeing people view my project and seeing that they like it. I also like creating things!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do you have a favorite code block? <\/strong>I think my favorite code block is probably \u201cForever\u201d since it keeps things going.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What do you do with a project when you\u2019re done with it? <\/strong>I show it to my friends and see if there\u2019s any issues with it, then publish it!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are you planning to make next? <\/strong>I have two NFL quizzes right now and I might make more and I might make an NFL clicker-based game where if you get enough clicks you can get a new player.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the best thing about Tynker?<\/strong> I like coding and seeing my games come to life!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do you think learning to code has prepared you for the future?<\/strong> I think if I ever get a job as an engineer, it could help me solve problems!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do you think other kids should try coding? <\/strong>I taught my sister how to code on Tynker. She\u2019s in the second grade.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to kids starting out with Tynker? <\/strong>I would say start out easy and then if you get better do something more difficult like a trivia!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noah\u2019s mom, Tiffany, told us about how she felt seeing Noah learning how to code and the value of it, saying: \u201cI\u2019m a second grade teacher and whenever Hour of Code came up, I tried it myself and I couldn\u2019t figure it out. So, I am blown away how the kids can code now. Learning all these patterns too, I don\u2019t know, he drew this stick figure which did some kind of Fortnite dance \u2014 I cannot believe what the kids are doing now.\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The benefits are obvious for Tiffany. She sees the opportunity for Noah\u2019s coding to help in any number of fields. \u201cTechnology, of course,\u201d Tiffany notes, \u201cAnd math with knowing the different patterns and science too with all the engineering. I can\u2019t imagine! All these kids are saying, \u2018Oh, I want to be a videogame designer,\u2019 and I\u2019m thinking it\u2019s like if someone said, \u2018Oh, I want to be an NFL player,\u2019 but nowadays it\u2019s a realistic goal.\u201d&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiffany loves how well-balanced Noah is and, like us, is excited for his future coding projects.
