New Year’s Resolutions \u2014 Highlighted Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our recent seasonal project, \u201cNew Year\u2019s Resolution,\u201d<\/a> was used by kids all over to articulate their ideas for becoming better in 2019! In just a few weeks, we\u2019ve seen many creative spins on this project, from new backgrounds<\/a> and characters<\/a> to inventive resolutions! <\/a>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids use coding as a creative, expressive medium as they think about what they might like to improve this year. They tap into their critical thinking<\/a> skills as they evaluate their lives and consider what might need changing, and then use code blocks to make those goals come to life! Using code as a digital communication tool<\/a>, they share with others their aspirations \u2014 from changing how they eat to how they want to help others! We\u2019re so excited to highlight just a few users and projects from around the Tynker community.

Our seasonal projects<\/a> are a great way for kids of any coding level<\/a> to experiment and try out new ideas! They\u2019ll take the main premise of the project \u2014 in this case, a New Year\u2019s resolution \u2014 and make it their own, with their own unique storytelling ideas, and adding animations and music using code. They can also get inspiration from the Tynker community as they share and remix projects and see others\u2019 interpretation of the same theme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
