With this New Year\u2019s seasonal project from Tynker, kids learn that \u201cresolution\u201d means a special promise you make to yourself to do something in the new year. This is the perfect opportunity to talk to kids about what New Year\u2019s resolutions are and how to make 2019 a great year!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some great resolution ideas your child can incorporate into their coding project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make dinnertime device-free and have face-to-face conversations instead<\/li>\n<li>Clean your room and finish your homework before eating dinner<\/li>\n<li>Be kind to siblings: Teach a younger sibling how to tie shoes, how to pour milk, etc.<\/li>\n<li>To get better grades in math, ask your teacher for help during class or after school<\/li>\n<li>Learn to play a sport!
