What better way to gain those skills than by learning to code? Computer Science skills are ubiquitous, important for both college and careers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the BLS, software developer jobs will grow <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/ooh\/computer-and-information-technology\/software-developers.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24%<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by 2026. CS salaries are more than <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/ooh\/computer-and-information-technology\/home.htm\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">double<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the national average. There are dozens of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tynker.com\/blog\/6-cool-tech-jobs-of-the-future-that-you-probably-havent-heard-of\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tech jobs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the horizon, like Avatar Manager or Virtual Habitat Designer!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But your students don&#8217;t have to opt for a job in the tech sector to use their programming skills! Exciting opportunities await your students in the financial, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A job as a programmer isn&#8217;t the only way your students can make the most of their coding skills. Computer Science skills are useful in almost any profession from doctor to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/academy\/en\/articles\/art20170411091504305\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">journalist<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Having a skill as in-demand and necessary as programming will open doors for your students in the future.
