Tynker is the only coding platform that offers students a comprehensive scaffolded pathway from Pre-K all the way through 12th grade. That’s why we’re so excited to release FOUR NEW COURSES for high school students. Months in the making, each engaging course offers a unique learning experience.

Join us as we explore each course in this series of FREE 30-minute webinars. You’ll learn more about the origin of our courses and how to get started. Sessions include:

Exploring Intro to Programming and Art

October 18 at 6:30 PM ET | October 25 at 6:30 PM ET
Our Intro to Programming and Art course uses a language called Processing. Students learn art principles and emulate the styles of renowned artists like Warhol and Picasso. Plus, you’ll hear directly from the original course author, Professor Zoë Wood, about how she used this course to increase diversity in her freshman CS class at CalPoly San Luis Obispo.

Exploring Tynker’s AP Computer Science Principles

October 19 at 4:30 PM ET | October 26 at 9:00 PM ET
Tynker’s AP Computer Science Principles curriculum uses Python and pseudocode to complete real-world coding challenges, making it fully aligned with the College Board’s Advanced Placement learning objectives and exam. Join us to try out the puzzles, projects, and sample performance tasks for yourself.

Exploring Data Science 1

October 20 at 4:30 PM ET | October 27 at 9:00 PM ET
Data Science offers some of the fastest-growing global career opportunities, making this an ideal CTE course. Students graph, analyze, and interpret everything from sports statistics to climate data with Python. Dive into our exclusive Data Science 1 curriculum that gets students started on this learning journey.

Exploring Tynker’s AP Computer Science A

October 21 at 4:30 PM ET | October 27 at 6:30 PM ET
Tynker’s AP Computer Science A curriculum engages students with puzzles and hands-on labs. This engaging course provides a unique object-oriented method focused on problem-solving in Java, making it fully aligned with the College Board’s Advanced Placement learning objectives and exam.

Each webinar session includes an opportunity to apply for a one-month evaluation grant so that you’ll have plenty of time to experience the courses in depth. All teachers who register for a session will also receive a session recording. That way, if anything prevents you from attending live, you’ll still be able to watch it at your convenience.
