Tynker Community Highlights: August 15 – 21

Every Monday, we’ll be sharing a handful of our favorite projects that have been published on the Tynker app this past week.

Tamia is six and a half years old and lives in the East Bay. She coded this fun never-ending math quiz game. How far can you get?

Have you been keeping up with the Olympics? This short animation about soccer Olympics accomplishes a lot with only a few lines of code. Making a project in Tynker is a great way for kids to express their opinions and enthusiasm about current events and sports!

This animation of a 3D cube is quite impressive. It’s using trigonometry to calculate the position of the cube on the screen as it rotates. This would be an awesome project for a high school or college math class!

As school picks up again, we’ve started to see a lot of teachers learning to teach coding with Tynker, which is awesome!

Happy Tynkering!
