On the Blog

Our Featured Maker this week is Etienne, who demonstrates persistence while working at a project until it’s just right: he says that when he’s done with a project, “I publish it, and if I find bugs in it, I unpublish it, fix the bugs, then re-publish it.”

Our Featured School this week is Harmony Science Academy Waco, a PreK-6th public charter school! Teacher Judy Jackson  says that students are excited about using Tynker as part of the school’s STEM program: “Tynker is a great addition to the STEM program here in Waco. The students actually want to log on and work on the programs during their free time or as an incentive!”

We’re very excited about our newest release–our Code Editor! It’s a visual environment that’s designed for coders ready to take on editing JavaScript, Python, HTML and CSS pages.

Keep contributing to the Tynker community! Parents and teachers can connect with us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the Tynker Community Forum. Kids can also start learning to code and creating for free with the Tynker app for iPads!
