Tynker Teacher Tips: Update Chrome to Ensure Peak Performance

Some of the most complex of problems can be solved with a simple browser update. As a Google Apps for Education admin, I’ve had to deal with Chromebooks that weren’t working properly, certain web pages that just wouldn’t load, and Chrome shutting down for no reason. Chrome gets updated a lot, and although it says it’s “updated in the background,” that won’t often get updated if the user doesn’t log out and log back in. So, here’s a handy-dandy tip for you and your students to ensure that Chrome – and Tynker – are working at peak performance.
