There’s been a lot going on this past week in Tynker’s Maker Community!

Projects of the Week

Emoji Meme Maker: This project lets you design your own emoji! Choose eyes, a mouth, and more.

quiz projekt: This project was submitted by a student in a Tynker classroom in Sweden. It’s an English quiz for English language learners. We were so impressed by the detailed drawings.

3D Wire Frame Test: This project is made by stradyvarious, a Tynker superstar who has made at least ten incredible featured games. This project uses math formulas to create a rotating shape.

Tynker CTO Srini Mandyam was interviewed for a super interesting piece in US News about whether coding should be considered a language and should be allowed to replace foreign language classes in school. What do you think? Should schools replace foreign languages with the option to learn to code?

Students in the UK are learning to code and program Sphero using the Tynker app!

For CodeWeekUK, an all-girls school is using Tynker to introduce their students to coding and break down stereotypes about what coding is and what an engineer looks like!
